Kettle-cook soup and sauce facility producing shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen products in vertical form-filled Cryovac application.
Candidate will be under minimal supervision and work alongside plant managers and assist with various aspects of daily operation of the plant.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
scheduling preventative maintenance maintaining support and repairing plant equipment including air compressors, water treatment, refrigeration in ammonia, hydraulics, electrical, boilers and sanitation, as well as other special projects.
performs expert level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc.
consults engineering experts when the manuals do not exist.
Creates reference materials.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience in specific industry or, 5 years of experience in specific industry.
Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
Some knowledge of refrigeration and ammonia system a plus 3 years supervisor experience desired Job Type:
