Electrical Reliability Engineer (On-Site)

WHAT WE NEED:
Sigma is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to be located at a client site.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the electrical distribution system is kept in good working order and meets the installation and reliability standards set forth in relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities:
Develop recommendations, project scopes, and order of magnitude estimates for high priority projects identified in the 10 year plan.
Able to lead larger electrical projects involving changing out of switchgear, relaying, E buildings, Medium Voltage Distribution Able to understand and interpret ETAP models of the site Familiar with distribution of voltages 34.
5 KV and below including overhead/underground distribution, relaying, transformers, etc Work with maintenance to determine requirements needed to develop a strong preventive and predictive maintenance program that complies with standards.
Develop and maintain procedures and requirements for equipment commissioning and testing that fall within NETA guidelines.
Develop and maintain specifications and standards for the purchase of new electrical distribution equipment.
Review electrical distribution models in ETAP and develop a review procedure to ensure that electrical models are up- to-date and comply with adopted NFPA 70 E requirements.
Develops Factory acceptance testing requirements and established forms for conducting these tests for critical electrical equipment.
WHO WE NEED:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Electrical Engineering 5
years of electrical distribution system experience in the oil, gas, and chemical industry.
Experience in electrical systems ranging from 12 tp 34,500 volts.
Experience setting up and maintaining predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
Expertise and knowledge of NFPA 70 E, NFPA 70B, and NETA.
ETAP modeling software experience is preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sponsorship to work in the US is not available for this position.
Ability to obtain a TWIC card as required by site.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
